Many companies offer corporate matching programs, whereby they match the donations and volunteer hours made by their employees to eligible nonprofit organizations like our PTSA.
By taking advantage of such programs, we can amplify the impact of our collective efforts and provide invaluable support to our school community. Your donations and volunteer hours are vital to our PTA's success, and the additional funds and resources from corporate matches will help us enhance our programs, support our students, and invest in their education. Follow the guidelines provided by your employer to initiate the matching gift or volunteer hour process.
Make a donation or engage in volunteer activities for our PTSA, such as organizing events or assisting with fundraisers etc. Donations to Ruby Bridges PTSA are 100% tax deductible.
This is a simple process.
Donation Matching
- Go to your employers preferred Donation Matching portal (e.g. Benevity)
- Search for Ruby Bridges Elementary PTSA
- Enter the Donation amount you wish to donate. Your employer will match a % of this amount based on their defined policies. E.g. some employers match 100%, This means if you donate $1 then the PTSA will receive $2.
- You're Done!
Alternatively, if you have donated directly to the PTSA, you can submit the donation receipt in your employer's portal to request for matching donation.
Volunteer Time Matching
- Go to your employers preferred Donation Matching portal (e.g. Benevity)
- Search for Ruby Bridges Elementary PTSA
- Enter the number of hours you've volunteered for the PTSA. Your employer will convert this into a dollar value. E.g. some employers may use $25/ hour. This means for every hour you volunteer for the PTSA, the PTSA will receive $25.
- You're Done!
